I’d just like to say a big thankyou and jzk to all the sisters who have left comments. For those of you who haven’t read the comments left after my posts ‘Iqra books’ and ‘Stress’, I would recommend reading them. They really do re-motivate you to home educate and there are some diamond comments that I needed to read. 🙂

  1. First of all I would like to thank you for your blog and sharing your efforts with us. I have a 3 year old and it’s about time I start thinking about his education and doing some more challenging activities to stretch his brain. I use your blog as a reference and I find it very helpful, as I find myself really struggling trying to organise something for my son I really am very impressed by the amount of work you put in planning, finding resources and organising your daughter’s day. . I would like to ask you a couple of questions if you don’t mind, which hopefully will help me manage my time and my children’s time better.
    1. I have seen in your blog a timetable for your doughter. What about your own time/management/timetable? I mean: how do you organise your day/ When do you find time to cook for the kids and yourself n hubby, when do you clean and do all the household chores, there is so much of it! Do you cook just simple dishes to focus on your daughter or normal/complicated dishes as well?
    2. How old is your daughter now and do you have any other children? If so, what do they do when you are busy homeschooling?
    3. Are you fluent in Arabic and knowledgeable in all the islamic aspects of your daughter’s education? I don’t speak Arabic yet I would love to teach it to my 3 year old. And as for Islamic studies… I hope I can learn alongside him.

I would love to do all what you are doing, and yet everyday I find that time flies away on cooking, feeding, doing lots of small things around the house, putting the little one to sleep (I have a 1 year old) or the little one crying, etc, etc… I find myself not organised at all, I mean my time management is totally up side down and I don’t know what I am doing wrong that I don’t find much time left to focus on my 3 year old, there just seems to be so many things around the house and a demanding baby on top of all that. I need to seriously revise my time management and I am in serious need of advice and guidance.

    • Ws wr wb dear Sister,

Firstly, jzk for your kind comments. I am going to post something on the blog either tonight or tomorrow morning answering your questions…so do check out the blog insh’Allah. I pray that the post will help you insha’Allah. Just a quick point, it can be done insha’Allah. The issue is not that we don’t have time…we do have time. The issue is how we use the seconds and minutes that we have. 🙂
