Maritime Museum

Standard

A couple of weeks ago, R attended Muslim Beavers and it was such a rainy day but I felt the need to go out and so we all went to the Maritime Museum. We’ve been to Greenwich before but have never been to the Maritime Museum. I checked out the events for children before hand and there was an interactive story telling session and an origami session upstairs. So off we went. Didn’t realise we would be having a discussion about shirk at the Maritime Museum…

To be honest, overall, the museum was a bit of a disappointment and I don’t think we’ll be going back there in a hurry with the exception of a home ed workshop that has been arranged. Would have rather gone to the science or natural history museum!

  1. Assalamualaykum,
Yes, I’ve been interested by story telling sessions before, but there always seems to be something inappropriate about them. I don’t even bother considering them now!
