Assalamu alaikum sisters

Would appreciate it if as many of you as possible could answer the following questions for me please:

Question: If there was a workshop for sisters on How to Organize Your Life for the sake of Allah…

a) What areas would you want to organise in your life? (eg health, finances, children, ibadah)

 b) Would you be interested in attending such a workshop? (Would really appreciate as many answers as possible – jzk sisters)

  1. Assalamo alaikum,

If it’s a “organizing your life…” workshop i would want all aspects of daily covered (with a home ed section too 🙂 ) I would be very interested to attend but I’m assuming it will be in London?

  2. Assalamu alaikum

I would love to attend such a workshop!!!
These are the questions I battle with on a daily basis. It would be very insightful to see how other sisters organize their time especially when it comes to Ibadah and increasing your knowledge of the deen.

Look forward to what you come up with!!!!

  3. Assalamu alaykum,

I think that it doesn’t need to talk about it in terms of organising and dividing it into health, children, ibaada etc. I believe that there is a great need for sisters to study aqeeda (me including) and deen in general. Then they would know how a life of a Muslim should be. I think jumping into making it practical and dividing life will mislead. The struggle and confusions of women come from ignorance in the deen. I have been there and done that for years trying to strike the right balance between everything. I was using trial and error to determine how to do it all. But the answers are in knowing my deen in terms of how to worship Allah so He will be pleased.

I don’t think one can give an answer which will fit all situations one will experience. But if one know their deen then they will be able to judge and decide what and when should be done.

I would rather recommend a halaqa on aqeeda. Long term one.

  4. Asalaamu alaikum,
I’ve read the previous comments and actualy agree with their points – I agree with Umm Zaynab in that lack of organisation in daily life is probably likey to be largely due to lack of understanding in the Deen (prehaps)

    – however I would be very much interested as umm Jibrel said regarding getting to know how other sisters organise their home-ed! This is an area I most deffo would like to know how, when, why others do what they do!

However I’m not in London either.

  5. i would be interested in trying to sort out the ibadah i never seem to have enough time in the day but then when there is a halaqa or lecture for sister i cant attendend becouse i always have the twins with me i have know one else to look after them but me hubby cant cope for to long

  6. Assalam u ‘alaykum warahmatullahi sister,

Nice to see you back from a wonderful journey 🙂

I’d love to attend such a workshop, but as a sister asked it must be in London? What if you organize one online aswell? For the international readers..

I’d love to cover all the aspects of a woman’s daily life, how to live a balanced life, where the Muslimah’s needs are fulfilled too, I see so many sisters mashaAllah, who have so many kids, being home educated, and they are pursuing their studies/passions along with everything else(running the house and everything it entails) perfectly! You’re one of them. Whilst there are some who’re always running behind, messy house, unruly kids, and you’ll find them complaining all the time that they haven’t got a life of their own, all their time is taken by kids and house hold duties.
I have always wondered how do YOu actually do it. You all are an inspiration no doubt, but for others to follow we need to know the ‘secrets’ 😉

  7. Assalamu alaikum,

Just wanted to thank each and every one of you for your comments – they will be very useful inshaAllah. May Allah reward you all. Ameen. x

  8. Salaamualykum

sounds like good idea sister but not sure why cant I keep up with routines? am so flexible it irritates myself sometimes, anyway it will be good to see how others do it, in all terms, of health, financial ibadah….

Mashaallah one of the sisters up there said right that we need knowledge of our deen for us to fit things in the right places in our lives

  9. السلام عليكم ورحمة الله و بركاته. I would like time management and proper Tarbiyyah of children addressed in the workshops أن شاء الله. I would love to attend but unfortunately I am also not in London

  10. Assalamualaikum!

If the offer still stands, I would love a workshop in how to manage homeschooling plus the babies and especially ibadah.
May Allah swt reward you for your efforts. By the way, is the ihsan website down? cannot connect to the forum,,?!
