  1. Assalam alaikum, I’m a homeschooling mother from Japan, and am a member of “International Homeschoolin Ummis”. I have read your post, and decided to subscribe. MashaAllah, your blog is wonderful, I love it! Here in Japan, homeschooling is still rare, and I guess I’m the only one around here who’s trying to homeschool. So I love all the imformation I can get from the Group, and the blogs! They really are the encoragements! I also got one blog, but don’t really have much time to update, and I guess no one’s reading besides me! LOL

Please keep up the good work! I’ll be looking forward to the updates, may Allah bless you, wassalam.

    Ameena

  2. Salaam,
I have been reading your blog for a couple of weeks now, and masha Allah you are doing a great job.

I am thinking of homeschooling,… but i’m not too sure whether i would be successful.

If you have any advice for me please email me, Jazak Allah

  3. As salamu alaikum,

I’m not home schooling, well, not officially, but I suppose we all teach our kids all the time, so technically we are all home schoolers and I have enjoyed and benefited from what I have read so far. Anything that helps us with our children in pleasing Allah SWT brings us closer to Him.

I have enjoyed what I have read of the blog and found the links useful also, jazakh’Allahukhairun.

I pray that Allah SWT blesses you and your family with good in this life and the Next, ameen.

    Wa alaikum as salam

  5. Assalamu alaykum Sister,

MashaAllah, you are doing great things here! Keep up the good work. Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas. It really helps motivate other families. You know “the little train that could”. I remember my mother going on and on about that one.

  7. Assalamualikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

I am a firm beliver of education emenating from ones own home, we are mothers hence naturally we are the first educators of our children.

I have only just begun to discover the world of education from the minds of my little treasure and hence I have found your site to be a primary stepping stone for that. Prior to which I invested over 100’s of pounds making my own projects and toys for my child from all across the world, subhanAllaah.

May Allaah enable you to continue your journey in investing your time and effort in educating your little ones. May other sister learn and follow the same footsteps at the same time reflect on our ummul muminen who had nothing materially yet were able to educate their children. May we be like them Ameen.

  11. Assalamu alaikum
I read your blog regularly and am always intrigued as to what you are up to next with your little gems, jazakallahu khairan for sharing your life with us all. It means a lot. I think you are well organised, pragmatic, ready to try new ideas, always enthusiastic to try to new things. Maybe the things we would all wish we were doing. So its not surprising other people want to have more time with their children to do similar things.

  12. Salams, u r doing a wonderful job mashaAllah. I don’t know how you manage to make time for your blog but we really appreciate it.

  13. assalamu alaikum,
mashaallah you are an inspiration sister. to someone who didnt study in this country i found myself at lost when i decided to homeschool my girls (aged 5 and 3) as i absolutely dont know where and how to start. although ive hooked them on “your baby can read” set of dvds which mashaallah helped jumpstart their reading (skipped phonics for both and now on proper reading), i didnt know what other proper resources and guide there is. alhamdulillah im very happy to come across your blogsite. may Allah reward you more…ameen.

    keep inspiring us…
