Assalamu Alaikum, Hello and Welcome…

This blog is to record all the exciting projects I and my children undertake as we travel down the homeschooling path. When I started this blog in December 2007, it was just the two of us. I now have a 5 year old son, 3 year old son and a 6 month old daughter mashaAllah. My reasons for homeschooling are many. However, there is one reason in particular: to attain the pleasure of the One who gifted me with a child to nurture, educate and raise for His Sake Alone.

Whether you are muslim or non-muslim, I hope that you will benefit from this blog. It will be updated regularly, with pictures, step-by-step guides and my planning (God willing).

I have been homeschooling since the very beginning. We are enjoying the journey and hope that it is one that will lead us to many other journeys as mother and daughter/son and servants of God.

It is my hope that this small endeavour is accounted for as one of my good deeds and that as a result, my Lord is pleased with me, and my children (God willing) understand their true purpose in life.

So without furtherado…welcome and enjoy…

Raiyaan is the door of jannah that opens for the fasting people. It is just spelt differently. x

  20. Assalam Alaekum Sister,

I was searching the web for homeschooling resources and came across your blog. Though I have not checked it in detail yet, from the few posts it looks like you are doing very good, Masha’Allah.

I was wondering if you can guide me about how to start the process, what are the pros and cons, how to evaluate the progress and especially what the kids would do once they learn equivalent to grade 8.

Will appreciate if you can respond by email.

    Jazak’Allah
